Every batch goes to Janoshik Analytical, an independent lab, and its report is published below with its batch number and a verification key. Enter the key on Janoshik's own site and you see the lab's copy, not ours. Then check the batch number on your carton against it. A new batch still at the lab is listed as in progress until its report is back.

Nothing here is a claim about a compound. It is the order things happen in, and each step leaves a document behind that you are entitled to see.

Pens from the batch are sent to Janoshik Analytical, a laboratory with no connection to us or the manufacturer. Every batch, not a sample of batches.

Certificate issued
The measured figures are written up per batch, against that batch's number. The purity on the product page is that number.

Published with a key
Each independent report is published below with its Janoshik verification key as soon as the lab issues it. Check it on the lab's own site.
What's on the document.
A certificate of analysis is only worth asking for if you know what to look at. Six fields carry the whole document — and the first one is the one most people skip.
Ask us anything on it and you will get a straight answer, including where the limits are.
Compound and analysis date
Ties the document to the product in your hand and to the date it was analysed.
Date of analysis
When the test was run — not when the batch was made, and not when the page was last edited.
Verification key
Twelve characters. Entered on janoshik.com, it opens the same report on the lab's own site. Our reports do not print the analytical method, so we do not name one.
Identity confirmation
The observed mass against the expected mass for that compound. This is the part that says it is what it says it is.
Measured purity
Taken from the chromatogram, as a percentage. This is the figure we publish, unrounded and unflattered.
Who issued it
The laboratory that ran the analysis, and their sign-off. Janoshik Analytical, independent of us, with a key that opens the report on their site.
