Task number
Printed on the report and in its link. It identifies one analysis.
Verification key
Twelve characters. Entered on Janoshik's site, it must open this same report.
Batch or lot number
Ties the report to a production run, and should match the label on the product.
Sample name
Names what was sent for testing. It should describe the product you are looking at.
Test date
When the analysis was run. It should fall after the batch was made.
Identity
Confirms the compound is the one named, usually by mass spectrometry.
Purity %
The share of the peptide material that is the target compound.
Content
How much is there, in mg or mg/ml. Purity alone says nothing about quantity.
Red flags
- No key, or a key that is blurred, cropped or missing from the link.
- The key opens a different report on Janoshik's site, or no report at all.
- The sample name does not match the product it is offered for.
- The test date is earlier than the batch was made.
- A purity figure with no content figure beside it.
Any one of these is reason to ask the seller for the report again, with a key that opens it.
